How to Report Abuse

If you suspect a child is being abused or is at risk of harm, find out how to report your concerns.

In an emergency, if you are worried about the immediate safety of a child, dial 999 and ask for the police.

For Members of the Public

If you are a member of the public who has concerns about a child's welfare or safety in Guernsey or Alderney, call the Multi Agency Support Hub (MASH) on 01481 223182.

Out of office hours, contact the Emergency Duty Team on 01481 222222.

For Professionals

If you are a professional and have concerns about a child or unborn baby that do not need an immediate response, refer to the MASH.

You should consult with your manager or the designated person responsible for child protection in your organisation. If after discussion your concerns remain, you must make a referral to the MASH team.

You can use the Multi Agency Referral Form (MARF) and send it to MultiAgencySupportHub@gov.gg (please submit in WORD format only).
