All agencies that work with children have a shared responsibility for protecting children and safeguarding their welfare. Each has a different contribution to make to this common task.
Training
The ISCP offers three levels of training: basic awareness (e-learning), safeguarding children (general principles), working together (multi-agency processes), and specialist focus workshops on key safeguarding themes.
Risk Assessment
The Children, Young People and Families Wellbeing framework provides a needs and risk assessment tool for Children and Family Community Services.

Children Law
Two laws for children and their families were passed in 2008 and came into effect in January 2010 — The Children (Guernsey and Alderney) Law 2008 and The Criminal Justice (Children and Juvenile Court Reform)(Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law 2008.
Threshold Framework
The threshold framework provides multi-agency guidance on the access criteria to help support children, young people and their families.
